Homestead Cabin Completed
The first Homeowners Cabin has been completed in time for an open house celebration in the new Homestead development near Whitefish. Approximatly 75 people attended the open house.
Another cabin is scheduled to be completed in early August. The cabins will be available for property owners to use while their homes are being constructed.
High Country Builders featured in Residential Design & Build
The newest issue of Residential Design & Build is now out, and guess what?... we're on the cover!
The article, called "Big Sky Living" features our award winning "Glass Forest" home built in the Iron Horse development in Whitefish, Montana. This home was the winner of the 2005 Flathead Valley Parade of Homes. Awards include, Judges Choice, Best Architectural Design, Best Craftsmanship, Best Kitchen, Best Interior Decor and Best of Class.
As a Design / Build Company, we are honored to be recognized by such a fine magazine.
High Country Builders signs with Broken Sound Productions
High Country Builders and The Homestead at Whitefish have signed a joint agreement with Broken Sound Productions to film a TV segment featuring our beautiful homes in the Whitefish area.
Filming is scheduled to begin in May and will air on the Travel channel sometime this fall.
Todd Wallace Named as New COO
High Country Builders announced today the promotion of Todd Wallace to Chief Operating Officer.
Todd joined the team in 2004 with the responsibility of overseeing project management.
Todd earned a BS in Marketing from Winona State University. During has early career, he worked as an account executive and director of business development for a number of advertising agencies in Minnesota. He then moved to Carlson Marketing Group, a privately held billion dollar corporation in Minnesota, where he spent 12 years developing marketing and customer loyalty programs for Fortune 500 companies.
Avodah Publishing awards High Country Builders with their "Pubisher's Choice Award"
In March, 2006 High Country Builders was awarded the Flathead Living Publishers Choice Award for their "Glass Forest" home entered in the 2005 FBA Parade of Homes.
"The parade had the highest attendance ever", says Michael R. Laurino, publisher and CEO of Avodah Publishing. Larino stated " I wanted to honor the best of the best, featuring the builders stories and homes, which deserve a Publisher's choice Award. " Walt Landi and his entire team deserve every one of the six awards received from the FBA".

Although long over due and only 90% completed, our new website is up and running.
Our new site combines ease of use with stunning photos and information potential clients will find very useful. Besides the usual company information and photo gallery, the site contains aerial photographs of Whitefish, Glacier National Park and surrounding areas. The Start to Finish page walks you through our custom Design/Build process.
